Job Summary

Elias Law Group LLP is a mission-driven law firm dedicated to helping Democrats win, citizens vote, and progressives make change. We are seeking a skilled Litigation Paralegal to join our Washington, D.C. office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough cite checking and proofreading of briefs
  • Collect, organize, and produce documents in response to discovery requests
  • Analyze and maintain factual information in centralized repositories
  • Prepare pleadings, discovery, and discovery responses under attorney supervision
  • File and e-file pleadings in federal and state courts
  • Draft and coordinate service of subpoenas in state and federal courts
  • Maintain litigation files, including electronic files and databases
  • Provide case management support, including monitoring case calendars and filing deadlines
  • Communicate effectively with attorneys, clients, witnesses, and opposing counsel
  • Prepare for and schedule depositions
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree and a minimum of five years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm
  • Strong cite checking skills and trial experience
  • Preferred: paralegal certificate, strong interest or background in politics
Work Environment

This is a hybrid role requiring some in-office presence in Washington, D.C. The position is primarily sedentary, but may require occasional lifting, bending, or standing.
