The Manufacturing Operations Manager is a driven and meticulous individual skilled in software systems and operational logistics. This essential position is centered on ensuring the smooth progression of customer orders, which includes prompt processing, troubleshooting, and delivery. As the initial phase in the production workflow, the Manufacturing Operations Manager guarantees that all orders are primed for success and monitored until dispatched. This role is customer-focused, involving fulfillment operations, inventory oversight, and ongoing enhancement, while collaborating closely with both internal and external teams to ensure impeccable order fulfillment execution.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Facilitate the uninterrupted flow of orders from receipt to delivery, ensuring a consistent and efficient order process while proactively tracking the entire process with urgency.
  • Scrutinize and manage order timelines diligently to ensure every order is processed and shipped punctually, minimizing delays and maximizing operational efficiency.
  • Develop and execute action plans that improve operational workflows, foster a culture of continuous enhancement, and utilize feedback to refine processes.
  • Generate precise and comprehensive Bills of Materials (BOMs) for each sold order to ensure accurate and efficient production planning, aligning with inventory and production capabilities.
  • Conduct regular reviews of job statuses, focusing on the oldest tasks to prevent backlog, implementing strategies to address and resolve any delays promptly.
  • Collaborate across departments, both within the factory and with external teams, maintaining clear and timely communication to keep all parties informed of order statuses and updates.
  • Oversee the complete shipping process for all jobs to ensure timely and accurate delivery, coordinating with logistics partners and addressing any issues that may arise during transit.
  • Lead and develop team members, providing guidance, training, and support to enhance their efficiency and effectiveness in daily tasks.
  • Promote a positive and productive work environment, coaching the team to remain focused and goal-oriented.
  • Exhibit accountability, urgency, and responsibility in all tasks.
  • Perform additional duties and projects as assigned, contributing to the overall success and continuous improvement of manufacturing operations.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree required.
  • A minimum of 5 years of experience in a fast-paced production logistics or high-volume manufacturing environment, with at least one year in a management role.
  • Ability to multitask and work independently with attention to detail and follow-up reporting.
  • Proficient in using KPIs and data to manage and enhance processes and provide constructive feedback.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and effective communication abilities.
  • Familiarity with ERP systems.
  • Proficient in Excel and general computer applications.
  • Knowledge of fantasy is a plus.
  • Experience in a LEAN environment; Six Sigma Green Belt certification preferred.

Salary Range: $85,000 - $110,000. Final pay rate will be determined based on experience and qualifications.
