Overview: This pivotal position is essential for the organization’s capability to produce and deliver products to clients punctually and within budget. The individual in this role will facilitate communication among Quality Assurance, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Engineering, and Administrative teams, as well as with clients. Responsibilities include overseeing the comprehensive processes of material requirements planning and managing the MRP system. As a Manager, it is expected to identify, communicate, and resolve process inefficiencies, training deficiencies, and production resource challenges.

Work Schedule: Days
Compensation: $90-95k annually

Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and oversee the Production Schedule within the MRP system to efficiently fulfill customer contract manufacturing requirements.
  • Establish, manage, and monitor inventory levels.
  • Create a strategic plan for materials management.
  • Lead, mentor, and evaluate the performance of 1-5 direct reports.
  • Analyze data to pinpoint opportunities for process enhancements.
  • Facilitate collaboration among Planning, Purchasing, Manufacturing, Quality Assurance, Engineering, and Administrative departments.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders regarding potential production delays, material shortages, and inventory issues.
  • Perform additional related duties as assigned by management.

Ideal Candidate Profile:

  • Bachelor's Degree (BS) or professional certification in Materials Management or a related field.
  • A minimum of 5 years of relevant experience in a material manufacturing setting or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • CPIM certification is preferred but not mandatory.
  • Demonstrated leadership capabilities with at least 2-3 years of direct management experience.
  • Familiarity with ISO9001 / ISO13485 QMS and FDA manufacturing standards.
  • High proficiency in MRP Systems, Microsoft Office Suite, and Project Management Software.
