Key Responsibilities
  • Production Team Oversight: Manage the production team, including performance management, policy deployment, scheduling, safety compliance, training, and development.
  • Process Verification: Ensure job documentation and processes meet validated standards and FDA compliance.
  • Product Management: Collaborate with the product management team to ensure adherence to strict guidelines for process setup, manufacturing procedures, defect tracking, and provide thorough and accurate data for incident investigations.
  • Corrective Action: Perform corrective action and leverage structured problem-solving tools to create effective solutions.
  • Business Metrics: Accountable for business metrics, including safety, quality, delivery, and cost.
  • Changeover Improvement: Responsible for changeover improvement plans, performance tracking, and cell improvements.
  • Continuous Improvement: Lead continuous improvement activities for assigned rooms using lean manufacturing tools to eliminate waste.
  • Quality Audits: Conduct quality audits.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Lean Manufacturing: Lean Manufacturing, 6 Sigma, Black Belt preferred.
  • Leadership Experience: 7+ years prior leadership experience in a manufacturing setting.
  • Technical Skills: Knowledgeable with MRP/ERP systems and MS Office.
  • Regulated Industries: Understand regulated industries (Ex. FDA, FAA, ISO).
  • Medical Device Manufacturing: Prior experience with medical device manufacturing a significant plus.
