About the Role

FSA Federal is seeking a highly skilled Financial Investigator to join our Asset Forfeiture Section. As a key member of our team, you will play a critical role in supporting the United States Attorney's Office in their mission to disrupt and dismantle criminal organizations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Analysis: Conduct thorough financial analysis of investigations to identify and track financial transactions, assets, and funds.
  • Support to Prosecutors: Assist prosecutors in preparing for court proceedings by developing legal theories for forfeiture and preparing exhibits, charts, and abstracts of financial evidence.
  • Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with the legal team, prosecutors, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless communication and coordination.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field; CPA certification preferred.
  • Experience: Three years of accounting, finance, or related experience; financial investigation experience strongly preferred.
  • Skills: Strong organizational and prioritization skills, excellent communication skills, and intermediate experience with Microsoft Office suite applications.
  • Background Investigation: Ability to pass a 7 (or 10) year minimum background investigation.
