Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Principal Network Engineer to join our team at Raytheon Careers. As a key member of our network engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining complex network systems and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement network architecture to support real-time system applications
  • Manage and maintain network infrastructure, including switches, routers, and firewalls
  • Perform troubleshooting and root cause analysis to resolve network issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure network security and compliance
  • Develop and implement network security policies and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in network administration and engineering
  • Active Top Secret/SCI with CI Poly clearance
  • DoD 8570 IAT Level 2 certification
  • Experience with Cisco ASAs, Routers, and Switches
  • Knowledge of network protocols, including TCP/IP, Multicast, and UDP
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience with 24x7 operational systems
  • Knowledge of network topology and architecture
  • Experience with system-level designs and high-level control and data interfaces
