Position:
Residential Counselor (Bilingual Spanish Preferred)

Location:
West Linn, OR

Overview:
Our residential treatment program is designed specifically for adolescents who are confronting challenges related to Anorexia Nervosa, Bulimia Nervosa, Binge Eating Disorder, or Exercise Addiction. We are committed to supporting both adolescents and their families throughout the recovery journey, equipping them with the necessary tools to lead fulfilling lives free from eating disorders.

Key Responsibilities:
As a Residential Counselor, you will play a vital role in:

  • Facilitating and supporting clients in their recovery process.
  • Implementing interventions aligned with each client's personalized treatment plan.
  • Encouraging healthy interactions among clients and fostering a supportive community.
  • Assisting with meal preparation and supervision during meal times.
  • Participating in therapeutic groups to enhance clinical skills.
  • Conducting regular rounds and documenting observations.
  • Occasionally transporting clients for off-site appointments and activities.

Qualifications:
We are looking for candidates who meet the following criteria:

  • Bilingual in Spanish is highly preferred.
  • A minimum of two years of post-secondary education; a Bachelor's degree in Psychology is preferred.
  • At least one year of experience in a mental or behavioral health environment is strongly desired.
  • A valid state-issued Driver's License with a clean driving record.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, along with a strong service orientation and flexibility.
