Job Summary:

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Medical Office Coordinator to join our Occupational Health Clinic team. As an MOC, you will contribute directly to the seamless daily operations of our clinic and the well-being of our patients and staff.

About the Role:

This is a dynamic role where no two days are the same, balancing customer interactions with key administrative responsibilities.

Responsibilities:

  • As the first point of contact, you will answer calls, greet patients, and schedule appointments with professionalism and care.
  • You will manage patient health records, including electronic filing, scanning, and retrieval, while adhering to HIPAA guidelines.
  • Enter and maintain data in multiple databases, such as electronic health records and PeopleSoft, ensuring accuracy and confidentiality.
  • Provide front-desk coverage, support Workers' Compensation workflows, and assist with enterprise-level administrative activities.
  • Facilitate new hire activities and coordinate follow-up appointments for vaccinations or lab work results.

Requirements:

  • Education: High school diploma required; associate's degree preferred.
  • Experience: At least 1 year of administrative experience preferred, particularly in a healthcare setting.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite is essential. Knowledge of Epic or other clinical systems is a plus.

What We Offer:

The salary for this position is estimated to be between $45,000 and $50,000 per annum, depending on qualifications and experience.
