Position Overview:
Are you meticulous, process-oriented, and passionate about guiding a team? LabCorp is on the lookout for a Laboratory Services Supervisor to enhance our operations.

Role Summary:

Work Schedule:

Monday-Friday 8:00AM-5:00PM


Key Responsibilities:
  • Assist in the preparation of laboratory samples for examination and testing.
  • Provide training and mentorship to technical staff within the department.
  • Investigate and resolve production discrepancies while escalating issues as necessary.
  • Engage in ongoing process and service level enhancements.
  • Conduct quality assurance evaluations to ensure operational efficiency and accuracy.
  • Maintain and prepare Quality Assurance documentation and records.
  • Administer and oversee policies and procedures.
  • Perform administrative tasks as required.

Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree (or higher) in a relevant scientific discipline.
  • A minimum of 2 years of pertinent experience, ideally in a clinical laboratory setting.
  • Previous supervisory or leadership experience is advantageous.
  • Familiarity with laboratory operations, policies, and procedures is preferred.
  • Proficient computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
  • Exceptional communication abilities, both written and verbal.
  • Strong attention to detail with excellent organizational and prioritization skills.
  • Critical thinking skills with the capacity to make informed decisions in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to meet the physical demands of the role.
