Beverage Service Specialist

SUMMARY
- The Bartenders at ASM Global are tasked with delivering exceptional customer service during events, ensuring customer satisfaction and precise management of all transactions, including inventory, in line with ASM Global's Universal Service Standards and relevant Operational Standards.
- Prepare and manage individual beverage stations.
- Handle cash transactions responsibly.
- Adhere to all applicable liquor regulations.
- Account for and manage liquor inventory accurately.
- Ensure cleanliness and sanitation of the work area.
- Follow safety protocols in the workplace.
- Provide efficient and friendly service to patrons.
- Report to Food & Beverage personnel in the designated uniform.
- Prepare all beverage offerings for sale at the station.
- Process sales according to the approved pricing structure.
- Manage cash and/or ticket transactions.
- Verify cash and liquor inventory with the supervisor accurately.
- Ensure cash register is set up correctly according to approved pricing.
- Comply with all regulations governing beverage operations and ASM Global's Food and Beverage Division.
- Request identification from every guest purchasing alcoholic beverages.
- Perform additional duties as assigned by the Food Service Manager.
- Must be at least 21 years of age.
- TABC certification is required.
- Ability to work flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- High School diploma or equivalent is preferred.
- Basic knowledge of cash register operations and cash handling is necessary.
- Ability to perform basic math for accurate cash handling.
- Familiarity with bar operations is beneficial.
- Ability to follow directions and effectively complete assigned tasks.
- Proficient in English to communicate with customers and staff.
- Capability to stand or walk for extended periods.
- Ability to lift and carry items weighing up to 50 lbs.
- Maintain a positive, customer service-oriented demeanor.
- Strong understanding of sanitary practices.
- Adhere to grooming and dress code standards.
- Exhibit a strong work ethic with urgency and quality in a team setting.
- Collaborate effectively with other staff members.
- Manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Attention to detail is essential.
