Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Research Director to join our team at Emory University. As a key member of our research team, you will be responsible for leading sponsored projects, developing protocols, and managing personnel and budgets.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead sponsored projects as principal investigator, co-principal investigator, or project director
  • Develop and implement project protocols, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements
  • Manage personnel, including hiring, training, and performance evaluations
  • Oversee project budgets, ensuring effective resource allocation
  • Publish research results in reputable scientific journals
  • Supervise other project staff, providing guidance and support
  • Serve as primary liaison with sponsors, ensuring effective communication and collaboration
Requirements
  • PhD, DrPh, or equivalent degree (MD)
  • Five years of directly related work experience
