Primrose Schools is looking to enhance its outstanding Infant Team with the position of Assistant Director of Infant, also referred to as Infant Nursery Supervisor (INS). Our institution provides all educators with essential resources for success, including training, materials, and in-classroom support. The Leadership Team, including the owner, possesses a background in classroom teaching and understands the daily challenges faced by educators.

Primrose Schools offers an accredited private preschool experience centered on high-quality educational childcare. We provide year-round programs designed for children from infancy through elementary school age.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Infant Nursery Supervisor Certification (mandatory)
  • Prior Experience in Infant Education (mandatory)
  • Understanding of Child Development and Behavior
  • Ability to Lift Up to 35 lbs (required for handling infants)
  • Compliance with Colorado State Requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee daily class activities for a group of infants
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations at Primrose Schools and relevant agencies
  • Continuously assess each child's developmental needs
  • Implement approved lesson plans and daily schedules aligned with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum
  • Coordinate parent-teacher conferences and student evaluations with the Leadership Team
  • Maintain an engaging and organized classroom environment to encourage creativity and decision-making in children
  • Provide verbal recognition and establish clear expectations for children's behavior
  • Manage classroom maintenance and housekeeping duties
  • Attend mandatory meetings, workshops, and school events
  • Adhere to professional appearance standards as outlined in the Primrose Schools Employee Handbook
  • Assist in other capacities as determined by the Director
