Required Skills and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Certification as an Infant Nursery Supervisor (mandatory)
  • Prior Experience in Infant Education (mandatory)
  • Comprehension of Children's Needs and Behaviors
  • Able to Lift Up to 35 lbs (essential for safely lifting infants)
  • Compliance with Colorado State Requirements

Main Responsibilities:

  • Overseeing daily classroom activities for a group of infants
  • Ensuring adherence to health and safety regulations at Primrose Schools and relevant agencies
  • Continuous assessment of each child's developmental needs
  • Executing approved lesson plans and daily schedules in line with the Primrose Balanced Learning curriculum
  • Coordinating parent-teacher conferences and evaluations with the Leadership Team
  • Maintaining an engaging and organized classroom environment to encourage creativity and decision-making among children
  • Providing verbal recognition and establishing clear expectations for children's behavior
  • Managing classroom upkeep and cleanliness
  • Participating in mandatory meetings, workshops, and school events
  • Adhering to professional appearance standards as outlined in the Primrose Schools Employee Handbook
  • Assisting in other designated capacities as directed by the Director
