Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiovascular Sonographer to join our team at WVU Medicine. As a key member of our diagnostic imaging department, you will be responsible for performing non-invasive imaging procedures to facilitate accurate diagnosis and treatment of patients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform adult cardiac or vascular ultrasound procedures to aid in diagnosis and treatment
  • Obtain and maintain certification in appropriate modalities, including echocardiography and vascular ultrasound
  • Collaborate with healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
  • Document procedures and results accurately and efficiently
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • One year of sonography experience preferred
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and lift up to 40 pounds
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Preferred Qualifications
  • One year of experience in a certified echocardiography laboratory or vascular laboratory
  • Basic Life Support certification within 30 days of hire
