Production Control and Planning Director

Astec Industries is seeking a highly skilled Production Control and Planning Manager to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for developing and managing a facility production plan that promotes efficiency, optimization, and customer satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and manage a facility production plan that maximizes efficiency and optimizes resources
- Lead the facility Sales Inventory and Operations Process, reporting performance to forecast, production, and inventory plans
- Collaborate with other functions to prepare and communicate the facility production schedule
- Develop and implement a flexible approach to meet customer satisfaction requirements
- Drive compliance and quality assurance for the rough-cut capacity planning process
- University degree in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management, Industrial Engineering, or similar field
- Experience with Oracle/Epicor ERP preferred
- Minimum of five years of progressively more complex supply chain experience
- Advanced knowledge of material control, supply chain planning, supply chain performance, logistics, purchasing, parts distribution, inventory control, manufacturing engineering, operations, transportation, demand, and order
- Excellent interpersonal, teamwork, organization, negotiation, conflict resolution, and communication skills
- APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification preferred
