About the Role

The Director of Quality Assurance will lead the development and implementation of world-class manufacturing quality processes and systems across all IPS Group production sites and value streams.

This strategic role will drive the organization's Quality Management System, ensuring compliance with global and local requirements.

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Establishing and enforcing quality standards and testing materials
  • Preparing product and process quality reports
  • Ensuring policies and management systems are up-to-date and compliant
  • Identifying and managing existing and emerging risks
  • Building processes and relationships that facilitate productive teamwork and goal achievement
Key Responsibilities

The Director of Quality Assurance will:

  • Provide strategic direction and leadership to the Quality Assurance teams
  • Work closely with site and business leadership to strengthen the quality culture and mindset
  • Be a company-wide advocate of policies and practices that support and improve product quality and reliability
  • Lead the organization to establish, implement, maintain, and continually improve the Quality Management Systems, policies, and procedures
  • Document, track, and report on key quality metrics for the sites and group
Requirements

To be successful in this role, the candidate will need:

  • A degree in Quality, Engineering, or Operations
  • 10+ years of leadership experience in quality, engineering, operational excellence, and Lean
  • Demonstrated communication, collaboration, and leadership skills
  • Strong interpersonal skills to communicate project plans, goals, and objectives
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Ability to solve problems at both a strategic and functional level
