Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Low Voltage Cable Technician to join our team at ESI Communications Inc. The ideal candidate will have experience in planning, overseeing, and leading projects from ideation to completion, with a focus on low voltage cables and fiber optic cables.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Install, terminate, and test low voltage cables and fiber optic cables.
  • Install cable pathway systems, including cable trays, data racks, and patch panels.
  • Dress and route cable into data closets and work areas.
  • Maintain a professional appearance and demeanor.
  • Honest, reliable, and good work ethic.

Requirements:

  • Ability to understand and install a structured cabling system, including pathways, spaces, horizontal cabling, backbone copper, backbone fiber optic, cross and inter-connections, and testing.
  • Ability to listen carefully and follow instructions.
  • Exhibit a positive attitude.
  • High attention to detail.
  • Ability to meet deadlines.
  • Self-motivated and excellent work ethic.
  • Demonstrate teamwork.
