Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Preconstruction Engineer to join our team at Faith Technologies, Inc. (FTI). As a Preconstruction Engineer, you will play a critical role in the success of our projects by working closely with our Preconstruction Manager to coordinate detailing and prefabrication strategies, develop project budgets and cost alternatives, and provide design, budgeting, and model coordination support.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate detailing and prefabrication strategies to the design during the Preconstruction process, translating those strategies to the project team at project start-up.
  • Assist and work with estimating team members in the development of project budgets and cost alternatives.
  • Support the Preconstruction Manager by developing and providing design, budgeting, and model coordination support on Design-Build, Design Assist, and Integrated projects.
  • Keep the Preconstruction Manager abreast of changes and modifications made during the process.
  • Provide support to field personnel during the construction process, RFI submittal process, and translate the design intent to the field, as needed.
  • Attend site meetings and site visits as needed to document existing conditions.
  • Document value engineering solutions, including identifying various design solutions and quantifying specific cost elements affected.
  • Support the collection of schedule and production data from the field to support project control functions.
  • Support MEP coordination with other trade contractors.
  • Support construction as-built and documentation process.
  • Support the development of manufacturing opportunities with Preconstruction and operations teams to support project delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
  • Technical Associate or Bachelor's Degree in a related field.
  • Low voltage or related field experience.
