Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Low Voltage Preconstruction Engineer to join our team at Faith Technologies, a division of Faith Technologies Incorporated (FTI). As a comprehensive authority in the field of electrical and energy services, FTI leads industry change through a dedicated investment in technology, strategic project consulting, and process engineering that drives productivity, value, and above all, safety.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate detailing and prefabrication strategies to the design during the Preconstruction process, translating those strategies to the project team at project start-up.
  • Assist and work with estimating team members in the development of project budgets and cost alternatives.
  • Support the Preconstruction Manager by developing and providing design, budgeting, and model coordination support on Design-Build, Design Assist, and Integrated projects.
  • Keep Preconstruction manager abreast to changes and modifications that are made during the process.
  • Provide support to field personnel during the construction process, RFI submittal process, translating the design intent to the field, may work on site as needed.
  • Attend site meetings and site visits as needed to document existing conditions.
  • Document value engineering solutions; which include identifying various design solutions and quantifying specific cost elements that are affected.
  • Support the collection of schedule and production data from the field to support project control functions.
  • Support MEP coordination with other trade contractors.
  • Support construction as-built and documentation process.
  • Support development of manufacturing opportunities with Preconstruction and operations team to support project delivery.
  • Perform other related duties as required and assigned.
Requirements
  • Education: Technical Associate or Bachelor's Degree
  • Experience: Low voltage or related field experience.
