Job Description
The Clinical Therapist Associate will be responsible for providing clinical services to individuals residing in our enriched residential environment. This includes conducting assessments and risk evaluations, developing and implementing individualized treatment plans, and providing therapeutic interventions to clients and their families.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough assessments and risk evaluations to identify client needs and develop effective treatment plans
- Provide individual, group, and family therapy sessions, as well as equine-assisted therapy
- Collaborate with the treatment team to ensure comprehensive care and coordinate with other professionals as needed
- Participate in regular team meetings and contribute to quality improvement initiatives
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of client progress and treatment outcomes
Requirements
- AASW, AMFT, or APCC licensure required; registration with BBS a plus
- Experience working with individuals with severe and persistent mental illness preferred
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and schedules
- Basic computer skills and familiarity with electronic health records
