Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and customer-focused individual to join our team as a Customer/Canine Service Specialist at our dog daycare and overnight care facility. As the CSS, you will be the first point of contact for our customers, ensuring a welcoming and efficient experience for pet owners and their furry friends.

Responsibilities
  • Greet and engage with guests, welcoming them to our facility and ensuring a smooth check-in process.
  • Escort dogs to their playgroups, providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our canine guests.
  • Collect and confirm pet and owner information, maintaining accurate records and ensuring seamless communication.
  • Manage and record pet belongings, providing a secure and trustworthy environment for our guests.
  • Answer phones and emails, responding to inquiries and resolving any issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule, confirm, and cancel appointments, ensuring efficient use of our facilities and staff.
  • Process payments, maintaining accurate financial records and ensuring a seamless payment experience.
  • Maintain the reception desk and lobby, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for our guests.
  • Perform other administrative duties as assigned, supporting the smooth operation of our facility.
Requirements
  • Excellent customer service skills, with a focus on providing a welcoming and efficient experience for pet owners and their dogs.
  • Effective communication skills, with the ability to engage with clients and coworkers in a professional and friendly manner.
  • Comfortable working with dogs, with a passion for providing a safe and enjoyable experience for our canine guests.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, multitasking during busy hours and maintaining a high level of productivity.
  • Self-motivated and detail-oriented, with a focus on accuracy and efficiency in all aspects of the job.
  • Proficient computer skills, with experience using software and systems to manage appointments, payments, and other administrative tasks.
