As a Financial Operations Specialist at S&S Health, you will be integral to our Finance team, ensuring the precise and prompt handling of payments and invoices. This role requires close collaboration with various internal departments, clients, and vendors to uphold financial records and support a range of financial operations. This position is an excellent opportunity to contribute to our commitment to delivering superior healthcare administration services.

This role is a hybrid position, allowing for both remote work and onsite responsibilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Process checks and ACH payments to customer accounts while reconciling postings with total deposits.
  • Perform monthly account reconciliations to ensure accuracy.
  • Work collaboratively with internal teams, clients, and vendors to create invoices and verify financial calculations.
  • Assist in the setup and ongoing management of invoices, fee distributions, and billing statements.
  • Provide support for other roles within the Finance department as required.

Required Qualifications:

  • Strong skills in data entry, analysis, and reconciliation.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and spreadsheet applications.
  • Experience in generating invoices and billing documentation for clients and vendors.
  • Ability to maintain accurate payment histories and financial data.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, particularly in business correspondence and financial reporting.
  • High attention to detail with a strong focus on customer service.
  • Team-oriented with effective collaboration and project management abilities.
  • Commitment to confidentiality regarding patient or customer information.

Education and Experience:

  • Associate's degree in a relevant field or equivalent practical experience.
  • Experience in healthcare administration is preferred.
  • Familiarity with TPA industry best practices is advantageous.

Preferred Skills:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data manipulation and reporting.
  • Experience with SAGE50/Peachtree accounting software.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Outlook for effective email management.
  • Strong communication skills for engaging with customers and stakeholders.
  • Ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Competency in using office equipment and information management tools.
  • Dedication to maintaining workplace safety and security.
