Job Title: SRAS Community Educator

Clarity of South Central Indiana is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Community Educator to join our team. As a Community Educator, you will play a vital role in promoting healthy relationships and decision-making skills among youth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement educational programs to promote sexual risk avoidance and healthy relationships among youth.
  • Present the I Decide For Me curriculum in public and private schools, as well as other venues, with fidelity and enthusiasm.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with area administrators, teachers, and other stakeholders to promote program success.
  • Coordinate logistics, including scheduling, materials, and equipment, to ensure smooth program delivery.
  • Provide regular reports to the Education Director, highlighting program successes and areas for improvement.
  • Participate in ongoing professional development, including webinars, trainings, and workshops, to stay current on best practices and research.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field, with at least one year of classroom experience.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information in a clear and concise manner.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to collaboration and teamwork.
  • Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and presentation software.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
Working Conditions:

The Community Educator will work in a fast-paced environment, with frequent travel to schools and other venues. The position requires excellent time management and organizational skills, as well as the ability to work effectively in a team setting.
