Job Title: SRAS Community Educator

Clarity of South Central Indiana is seeking a highly motivated and dedicated SRAS Community Educator to join our team. As a key member of our Education Department, you will play a vital role in promoting healthy relationships and decision-making skills among youth.

Job Summary:

The SRAS Community Educator will be responsible for delivering the I Decide for Me curriculum to students in public and private schools, as well as other venues. This includes presenting the program with fidelity, submitting Fidelity Monitoring Tools, and establishing relationships with area administrators and teachers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Deliver the I Decide for Me curriculum to students in grades assigned by the Education Director
  • Present the program with fidelity and submit Fidelity Monitoring Tools
  • Establish and maintain relationships with area administrators and teachers
  • Perform routine office work, including making copies, returning phone calls and emails, and coordinating with the Education Department Administrative staff
  • Report to the Education Director regularly and provide a monthly report
  • Assist with grant-related tasks, including becoming familiar with grant goals and objectives and meeting deadlines as needed
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in education and at least one year of classroom experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Maintain confidentiality of client, staff, volunteer, and agency information
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Computer competence and willingness to become proficient in presentation software
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to develop systems and processes

The SRAS Community Educator will work in a fast-paced environment with a team of dedicated professionals. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and organizational skills.
