We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Custodian, Facilities and Campus Services to join our team at Wake Forest University. As a key member of our facilities team, you will be responsible for maintaining the cleanliness and organization of our campus facilities.
Key Responsibilities
- Ensure the cleanliness and organization of all campus facilities, including offices, classrooms, and public areas.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as cleaning, painting, and repairing facilities.
- Assist with special events and projects, such as setup and teardown of events, and maintenance of outdoor spaces.
- Collaborate with other facilities staff to ensure seamless operations and effective communication.
- Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date on best practices and industry standards.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; associate's or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Minimum 1-2 years of experience in facilities maintenance or a related field.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in a fast-paced environment.
