We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Patient Services Representative to join our team at Prisma Health. As a key member of our front office staff, you will be responsible for providing exceptional patient care and administrative support to our physicians and staff.
Key Responsibilities:- Provide accurate and timely patient registration, pre-certification, and charge capture services.
- Process patient payments and maintain accurate financial records.
- Assist patients with insurance claims, benefits, and billing inquiries.
- Coordinate patient scheduling, appointments, and follow-up care.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and files.
- Provide excellent customer service and communication skills to patients, families, and healthcare team members.
- High School diploma or equivalent required.
- No previous experience required, but associate's degree in a technical specialty program preferred.
- Basic understanding of ICD-9 and CPT coding preferred.
This is a non-management role that will report to a supervisor, manager, director, or executive. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
