Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Advanced Technology Sales Representative to join our team at CDW. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with our customers, understanding their business needs, and providing them with expert advice and solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Customer Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, understand their business needs, and provide them with expert advice and solutions.
  • Order Management: Manage daily customer communications, interact directly with customers, and provide them with timely and accurate order status updates.
  • Product Knowledge: Maintain in-depth knowledge of relevant products, promotions, and announcements, and provide customers with expert advice and solutions.
  • Contract Management: Manage customer-specific contract pricing programs, responsible for customer contract reporting requirements, and ensure compliance with all contractual obligations.
  • Reporting and Analytics: Create pipeline reports, attend monthly pipeline meetings with ATAEs and Sales Leadership, and provide regular updates on sales performance.
  • Administrative Support: Provide basic administrative support, including expenses, for supported ATAEs, and handle special projects as assigned.
Requirements
  • 3+ years of experience in Sales or Sales Operations, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate with customers, colleagues, and management.
  • Working knowledge of Office applications and SPS, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Confident with customer interactions, with the ability to build trust and rapport with customers.
  • Ability to travel up to 10% or as needed to other CDW locations, meeting, and client sites.
Preferred Qualifications
  • College Degree in a related field, such as Business, Marketing, or Communications.
  • Prior experience in selling computer hardware, software, solutions, or services, with a proven track record of success in building and maintaining strong customer relationships.
  • Experience with and working knowledge of Changepoint and Emptoris, with the ability to learn and adapt to new systems and technologies.
  • Certifications in Advanced Technology, such as Cisco, with the ability to demonstrate expertise and knowledge in these areas.
