As a Senior Technology Sales Consultant, you will be instrumental in fostering strong customer relationships and understanding their unique business requirements.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Managing daily communications with clients to ensure their needs are met.
  • Providing direct support to customers on various matters, including order updates, quotes, and inquiries.
  • Proactively sharing relevant information that may impact clients' operations.
  • Participating in essential meetings such as Services Kick-Off Calls, Status Updates, and Project Completion discussions involving both customers and CDW resources.
  • Engaging in weekly team huddles to strengthen relationships with the sales team.
  • Maintaining comprehensive knowledge of pertinent products, promotions, and announcements.
  • Collaborating with key Advanced Technology OEM partners.
  • Overseeing customer-specific contract pricing programs and fulfilling reporting requirements.
  • Processing complex advanced technology orders accurately and efficiently through internal systems.
  • Managing deal registrations for Advanced Technology products.
  • Creating pipeline reports and attending monthly meetings with Sales Leadership.
  • Updating and managing opportunities in the designated tracking system.
  • Handling customer SMARTnet contracts and processing Statements of Work (SoW).
  • Coordinating hardware delivery schedules and managing return merchandise authorizations (RMAs).
  • Identifying applicable rebates and promotions.
  • Utilizing both internal and external training resources to enhance product knowledge and sales capabilities.
  • Completing Partner Product accreditation as necessary.
  • Providing basic administrative support, including expense management, for supported sales team members.
  • Taking on special projects as requested.
  • Building strong working relationships with internal departments.

You should possess a strong sense of urgency and a commitment to delivering an exceptional customer experience.

Qualifications:

  • A minimum of 3 years of experience in Sales or Sales Operations.
  • Exceptional communication skills and attention to detail.
  • Proficient in Office applications and internal systems.
  • Demonstrated ability to multitask, organize, and prioritize effectively.
  • Confidence in customer interactions.
  • Ability to remain stationary for extended periods while operating office equipment.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to other locations for meetings and client engagements.
  • A professional, mature, and team-oriented demeanor.
  • A college degree is preferred.
  • Prior experience in selling technology solutions or services.
  • Familiarity with tracking systems and software.
  • Certifications in Advanced Technology (e.g., Cisco) are advantageous.
  • A proven track record of successfully completing special projects.
