About the Role

Troy Corporation is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to join our team. As an EHS Manager, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with state, federal, and local regulations, as well as implementing and maintaining effective environmental health and safety programs.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support the administration of our company philosophy, "The Goal is Zero," which aims to achieve zero injuries, zero process incidents, zero distribution incidents, and zero environmental incidents.
  • Analyze and interpret current and proposed regulations to determine their potential impact on our operations.
  • Develop and implement EHS programs, including work permits, industrial hygiene, workers' compensation, incident investigation, and more.
  • Manage our EHS programs to enforce regulations and reduce risks and accidents.
  • Prepare government environmental reports, such as SARA 312/313, EPCRA, RMP, CBS, PBS, and Air Emission Reports.
  • Correspond with regulatory agencies to obtain necessary permits and certificates, and ensure compliance through training and employee engagement.
  • Develop and maintain hazardous and non-hazardous waste management programs.
  • Perform RCRA training and other regulatory training as needed.
  • Oversee groundwater remediation programs and communicate with engineers and regulatory agencies.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Safety Management, Environmental Science, or a related field.
  • At least 10 years of experience in EHS management, with a focus on regulatory compliance.
  • Strong knowledge of Title V, RCRA, SARA, OSHA, TSCA, PSM, RMP, and RC14001 principles.
  • Excellent communication and computer skills.
