Key Responsibilities- Supervise and Coach Case Managers
Provide guidance, training, and development opportunities to Case Managers to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to provide exceptional service to our clients.
Provide Comprehensive Case ManagementDeliver individual and group counseling services, as well as other support services, to clients in the absence of Case Managers.
Manage the Shelter's Multidisciplinary TeamOversee the day-to-day operations of the shelter, including crisis intervention, case conferences, and ensuring that all Case Managers are meeting their responsibilities.
Ensure Compliance with RegulationsEnsure that all Case Managers are conducting initial needs assessments with new clients within 48 hours of arrival and developing Individualized Living Plans (ILPs).
Collaborate with Community Service ProvidersWork with external service providers to ensure that clients receive essential services, including substance abuse treatment and mental health services.
Stay Up-to-Date on Industry DevelopmentsAttend regular training sessions to stay current on Department of Homeless Services (DHS) updates and best practices in the field.
Develop and Conduct Client ActivitiesDesign and lead workshops and activities to support client engagement and empowerment.
Requirements- Education
Masters in Social Work (MSW) or related degree required.
Experience2-3 years of experience in family and/or single adult residential counseling services.
Supervisory ExperienceAt least one year of supervisory experience required.
Skills and QualitiesAbility to work with at-risk populations, including domestic violence survivors, clients with medical and mental health issues, and the chronically homeless.
