Social Services Manager

Urban Pathways, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Social Service Supervisor II to join our team.
About the RoleThe Social Service Supervisor II will oversee the clinical and case management functions of the Social Service Department, ensuring the best practice approach of program functioning and compliance with regulatory agency policies and procedures.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise daily operations and clinical staff in the absence of the Director of Social Services/Program Director.
- Provide administrative and programmatic supervision to case management staff.
- Support and guide case managers in the execution of all housing-related tasks.
- Meet individually with direct reports for weekly supervision.
- Assign cases to case managers and schedule work according to priority.
- Conduct case conferences, review cases, and resolve client issues.
- Audit client records and ensure compliance with Urban Pathways, regulatory, and funding agency requirements and guidelines.
- Assess, train, and coach case managers on work assignments and community resources.
- Supervise and document incident reporting and distribute related notices within 24 hours.
- Monitor client medications, as required.
- Review service plans, program notes, and other required client documentation to ensure comprehensiveness and compliance with Urban Pathways and regulatory agency requirements.
- Ensure case managers adhere to the monthly 360 Chart Audit.
- Ensure housing documentation is completed in a timely manner for submission to housing providers.
- Manage caseload in the absence of the Case Manager.
- Complete and submit required reports and statistics in a timely manner.
The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in social work, excellent leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
