Job Overview

St. Michael's Early Learning Center is seeking dedicated full-time floaters to join our dynamic childcare team. As a floater, you will play a crucial role in providing support across various classrooms, ensuring a nurturing and engaging environment for children of all ages.

Position Summary

In this versatile role, you will adapt to different classroom settings, assisting teachers and staff as needed. Your schedule may vary daily, but you can expect to work a consistent 40 hours each week. Floaters may also be tasked with special duties, such as preparing our unique Fun Friday lunch.

Key Responsibilities
  • Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability while working with children of varying ages.
  • Maintain reliability and punctuality in all assigned duties.
  • Exhibit a willingness to learn and grow within the role.
Qualifications
  • A minimum of 6 months of experience in a licensed childcare environment.
  • Must be at least 18 years old and possess a high school diploma or GED.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Additional experience or prior work as a floater.
  • Completion of ECD 101 is preferred but not mandatory.
