About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Technical Operations Engineer to join our team at Oracle. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for the operation of production environments, including systems and databases, supporting critical business operations.

Responsibilities
  • Install, monitor, maintain, support, and optimize Oracle Cloud Infrastructure.
  • Provide escalated technical support for complex technical issues, including leading problem management cases and providing management status.
  • Coordinate escalated support cases and lead appropriate internal technical resources and/or third-party vendors to resolution.
  • Responsible for Oracle production environments, assist with server operating system and application upgrades, bug fixes, and patching, and work on standardization projects for both hardware and software under the Oracle technology stack.
  • Provide on-call support, on a rotating basis.
Requirements
  • US Government active Top Secret/SCI security clearance required with willingness to get polygraph.
  • Bachelor's degree, in Computer Science, or equivalent work experience.
  • Experience with Linux System Administration, Networking, Storage, Compute, and Virtualization.
  • Experience participating in or running incident bridges.
  • Customer focus, passion for delighting customers.
  • Experience in cloud technical support, operations, NOC, or similar is preferred, but not required.
  • Demonstrable ability to quickly learn new technical disciplines and then train others.
