Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cloud Operations Engineer to join our team. As a key member of our solution delivery team, you will be responsible for designing, deploying, and maintaining cloud environments to ensure high availability and reliability.
Key Responsibilities- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand infrastructure requirements and develop solutions to meet those needs;
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud environments using infrastructure as code tools;
- Work with databases to ensure efficient and reliable data storage in the cloud;
- Monitor cloud environments to ensure performance, cost efficiency, and security;
- Use a structured troubleshooting approach to identify and resolve cloud-related issues;
- Develop and maintain Kubernetes environments to support application deployments;
- Troubleshoot and configure network settings in cloud environments to ensure optimal performance and security;
- Collaborate with development teams to ensure seamless application deployment and integration in the cloud;
- Communicate effectively with customers and team members to ensure cloud requirements are met;
- Participate in on-call rotation.
- Azure experience, preferably certified (5+ years of experience);
- Experience with infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, CloudFormation);
- Experience with container orchestration, preferably Kubernetes;
- Client-facing experience in deployments/ installations;
- Excellent English and communication skills;
- Ability to travel for device pickup and occasional travel to one of our offices;
- Upper-intermediate English level.
- Proficiency in AWS and Google Cloud platforms;
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field;
- Strong proficiency with Linux and Windows Server administration;
- Strong proficiency with bash and PowerShell scripting;
- Experience with creating Terraform Bundles;
- Experience deploying within an Airgap environment;
- Familiarity with databases like MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB, and MS SQL;
- Experience with deploying and troubleshooting a microservice-based application;
- Familiarity with cloud security best practices;
- Experience troubleshooting and configuring network settings in cloud platforms;
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills;
