Job Summary

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Intake Specialist to join our team at Services For The Underserved, Inc. The successful candidate will be responsible for coordinating and monitoring all activities related to potential resident intake, answering calls, and providing excellent customer service.

Key Responsibilities
  • File and retrieve documents and reference materials
  • Monitor, screen, respond to, and distribute incoming communications
  • Receive and interact with incoming visitors
  • Liaise with internal staff at all levels
  • Interact with external clients
  • Provide timely, accurate, and clear documentation according to established policies and procedures
  • Handle unexpected situations by responding effectively to challenges, deadlines, and emergencies
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Services or related field preferred
  • CASAC-T required, CASAC preferred
  • Bilingual English/Spanish preferred
  • Computer skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • Valid New York State Driver's License a plus, but not required
