Position Overview: As an Electrical Systems Engineer, you will engage in engineering responsibilities that encompass the planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems. Your role will involve enhancing manufacturing processes through in-depth problem analysis and effective solution implementation. You will also manage projects to align with departmental objectives and new model requirements.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead and support the development of solutions for intricate challenges.
- Create project plans by establishing targets, specifications, timelines, and budgets.
- Manage projects through a structured approach (Analyze-Plan-Justify-Implement-Confirm-Report).
- Review and validate electrical designs and specifications to ensure compliance with product standards.
- Provide technical support for existing equipment to achieve departmental goals.
- Foster a customer-centric perspective to encourage team engagement in meeting performance targets.
- Conduct complex troubleshooting and analysis of electrical systems to resolve issues promptly.
- Analyze daily reports and investigate problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
- Enhance personal and team development through training, mentoring, and knowledge sharing.
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Robotics) or equivalent experience.
- 0-6 years of experience in Controls or Manufacturing or related fields.
- Familiarity with Omron PLC, Allen Bradley Guard Logix, and industrial networking/communication.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and CAD software (Catia, AutoCAD).
- Experience with Servo and VFD Control systems.
- Understanding of machine safety regulations.
- Experience in HMI development and application.
- Flexible working hours and schedules.
- Potential for domestic and international travel.
- Overtime may be required.
- Physical demands include a mix of standing and sitting.
- Heavy lifting is not a requirement.
