Role Overview

The primary responsibility involves executing engineering tasks related to the planning, installation, operation, and maintenance of electrical systems. You will enhance manufacturing processes through in-depth problem analysis and the implementation of effective solutions. Additionally, you will manage projects to align with departmental objectives and new model specifications.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead and develop innovative solutions for complex engineering challenges.
  • Establish targets, specifications, timelines, and budgets to formulate project plans.
  • Oversee project management processes (Analyze-Plan-Justify-Implement-Confirm-Report).
  • Evaluate and endorse electrical designs and specifications to ensure compliance with product requirements.
  • Provide technical support for existing equipment to achieve departmental goals.
  • Foster a customer-centric perspective to encourage team engagement in meeting objectives.
  • Conduct advanced troubleshooting and analysis of electrical systems to resolve issues promptly.
  • Review daily operational reports and investigate problems to identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
  • Enhance personal and team development through training, mentorship, and knowledge sharing.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical/Robotics) or equivalent experience.
  • 0-6 years of experience in Controls or Manufacturing or related fields.
  • Familiarity with Omron PLC, Allen Bradley Guard Logix, Industrial Networking/Communication, Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), CAD (Catia, AutoCAD), and time management skills.
  • Experience with Servo and VFD Control.
  • Understanding of machine safety regulations.
  • Experience in HMI development and application.
Work Environment
  • Flexible working hours and schedules.
  • Willingness to travel domestically and internationally.
  • Potential for 10-20 hours of overtime weekly.
  • Weekend and holiday work may be necessary.
  • Balance of standing and sitting during work hours.
  • Heavy lifting is not a requirement.
