We are seeking a highly skilled HPC Systems Administrator to join our team at TEKsystems. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for the administration and maintenance of High Performance Computing systems at client sites in the Montgomery, AL and Oklahoma City, OK.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer HPE Performance Cluster Manager (HPCM) and Parallel File Storage System (PFSS) systems.
- Perform day-to-day administrative operations and maintenance of HPE provided systems.
- Provide performance analysis, performance tuning, and recommendations for future architectures.
- Evaluate and escalate issues and problems to HPE Support and/or Engineering as necessary.
- Deploy and maintain high-performance communications fabrics.
- Assist with the identification, troubleshooting, and repair of software problems impacting performance of implemented solutions.
- Assist with the installation of customer-designated and properly licensed software patches and upgrade software/firmware as mutually agreed.
- Respond to customer-designated software trouble tickets and software problems identified by customer-designated system administrators and users.
- Active Secret clearance required, Top Secret preferred or the ability to upgrade.
- Security+ and Linux+ certifications not required to start but will be required to obtain.
- Expert-level experience in systems engineering, system administration, HPCM, PFSS, network fabric, high-speed networking, performance cluster manager, parallel file storage, and Linux.
