Job Description:


The Manufacturing Product Engineer at Raytheon Technologies plays a pivotal role in enhancing process management and improving quality and delivery outcomes.

This position emphasizes the advancement of specific component manufacturing techniques through various methodologies such as PFMEA, Control Plans, and Gage R&R.

The role requires collaboration with product and tool designers, quality assurance teams, and other key stakeholders to refine manufacturing processes and uphold product excellence.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Propel MRL initiatives to identify and alleviate manufacturing challenges
  • Execute process enhancement and control strategies
  • Perform root cause investigations on nonconforming items
  • Lead process improvement efforts utilizing MRL tools
  • Oversee critical projects aimed at boosting manufacturing capabilities
  • Represent the organization in discussions related to MRL implementation
  • Formulate standard operating procedures and best practices

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree with 5+ years of experience or Master's degree with 3+ years of experience in engineering or manufacturing
  • Expertise in complex manufacturing processes and project oversight
  • Capacity to influence and collaborate effectively
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in project management
  • Knowledge of Statistical Process Control (DMAIC, Six Sigma)
  • ACE/CORE/6 Sigma certification
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in manufacturing or engineering
