- Responsible for process documentation and standard work. Collaborate with the Process Improvement team to implement world-class manufacturing processes and standards.
- Utilize Lean Manufacturing skills to support smooth, even flow in manufacturing and result in products that conform to customer requirements.
- Estimate production times, staffing requirements, and related costs to provide information for management decisions.
- Coordinate with manufacturing to minimize production issues and costs while ensuring products meet quality standards.
- Design, develop, and maintain manufacturing routes to maximize effectiveness, efficiency, and space.
- Communicate manufacturing capabilities, capacity, production schedules, or other information to facilitate production processes.
- Utilize applied statistics in work, including Design of Experiments (DOE) for laboratory and process applications.
- High level of computer literacy to support data analytics, including creating complex, custom queries involving multiple SQL databases.
- Evaluate products based on specifications and quality standards.
- Troubleshoot processes in response to process upsets and customer complaints. Work with manufacturing and quality to complete root cause analysis and corrective actions on nonconforming material and customer complaints/returns.
- Bachelor's degree and 5 or more years of experience preferred.
- Possesses solid working knowledge of manufacturing.
- May provide leadership, coaching, and/or mentoring to team members.
