- Engage with customers and colleagues in a courteous and professional manner.
- Effectively communicate regarding the status of customer parts orders.
- Utilize the parts catalog to accurately identify and discuss specific components.
- Handle incoming calls, providing pricing information and other relevant details to customers.
- Examine body shop estimates to ensure the accuracy of ordered parts and pricing alignment.
- Deliver exceptional service to both internal and external clients.
- Retrieve and fulfill orders from inventory while conducting regular stock checks for accuracy.
- Alert the parts manager about any out-of-stock items or urgent shop materials.
- Source out-of-stock parts from external suppliers and initiate emergency orders when necessary.
- Ensure all internal parts requests are billed appropriately on service repair orders.
- Process payments from retail customers or secure credit approvals.
- High School Diploma or equivalent, with prior experience in auto parts sales.
- Willingness to grow in a fast-paced work environment.
- Excellent interpersonal and time management abilities.
- Capability to read and interpret safety and maintenance documentation.
- Proficiency in performing calculations involving discounts, interest, commissions, proportions, percentages, area, circumference, and volume.
