Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated and organized Insurance Account Manager to join our team at Tompkins Community Bank. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, providing exceptional customer service, and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Manage a portfolio of personal insurance accounts, ensuring timely and accurate processing of renewals, claims, and other account-related activities.
  • Provide exceptional customer service, responding to customer inquiries and resolving issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, identifying opportunities to upsell and cross-sell insurance products.
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless account management and customer service.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and regulatory requirements, ensuring compliance with all relevant laws and regulations.
Requirements
  • Associate's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
  • New York state Insurance License or the ability to obtain one within 3 months.
  • Proven customer service skills and ability to develop exceptional sales skills.
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and phone skills.
  • Excellent computer and keyboarding skills and knowledge of word processing with Windows experience; working knowledge of Microsoft Excel is preferred.
