Position Overview Automation Systems Specialist
This role involves the commissioning of e-mobility machine tool equipment. Responsibilities include troubleshooting electrical, pneumatic, and hydraulic systems, implementing program and wiring modifications, and performing mechanical troubleshooting with a focus on electrical startup and programming adjustments.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Commissioning assembly systems for electric drives and battery modules at client locations
  • Programming and configuring control systems, HMIs, bus systems, and interfaces with advanced subsystems
  • Modifying and enhancing control logic, algorithms, and user interfaces
  • Conducting tests on individual machine functions and optimizing performance
  • Diagnosing and resolving malfunctions while continuously improving system efficiency
  • Preparing technical documentation and reports
  • Maintaining regular communication with clients, project teams, and other departments
  • Performing additional duties as required
Qualifications:
  • Minimum of a High School Diploma; an Associate's Degree in Electrical Engineering, Robotics, Automation, or a related field is preferred
  • Experience in PLC or CNC programming (Siemens preferred)
  • Proficient in general PC and Networking skills
  • Preferred 2 years of relevant experience
