We are currently seeking a proactive and detail-oriented individual to fill the role of Supply Chain Planning Analyst.
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst will play a crucial role in our Product Support and Logistics Division, which oversees the distribution of aftermarket parts, integrated logistics, procurement, and the development of maintenance components.
Key Responsibilities:
The Supply Chain Planning Analyst will be responsible for:
- Monitoring and resolving issues related to automated equipment.
- Managing spare parts inventory and reordering processes.
- Acting as the primary liaison with automation vendors and contractors.
- Tracking equipment performance metrics and reporting to leadership.
- Overseeing preventative maintenance tasks.
Essential Functions:
This position entails collaboration with master planners to address outsourcing requirements, establishing blanket purchase orders, and managing vendor-managed inventory (VMI). You will also:
- Identify and implement initiatives to enhance supply chain efficiency.
- Support customer interactions and lead proposal efforts, including pricing and supplier selection.
- Maintain supply chain application systems.
- Assist with automation software and conduct troubleshooting.
- Adhere to operational safety protocols.
- Conduct preventative maintenance on automated systems.
Required Qualifications:
The ideal candidate will possess:
- Analytical Skills: Ability to identify root causes of organizational challenges and propose effective solutions.
- Technical Proficiency: Capability to foresee, identify, and resolve technical issues across hardware and software.
- Process Improvement Expertise: Experience in evaluating and implementing more efficient operational methods.
- Project Management Skills: Proficiency in planning, organizing, and monitoring projects to meet objectives.
- Strong communication skills for effective interaction across various departments.
Preferred Qualifications:
Familiarity with Extended Warehouse Management (EWM) and knowledge of warehousing processes will be advantageous. Experience with automated systems, particularly in mechanical or electrical domains, is also preferred.
