Role Summary

The Medical Imaging Field Service Technician will be responsible for traveling to various healthcare facilities to perform essential service tasks, including repairs, routine maintenance, equipment installations, and de-installations. The ideal candidate will possess strong troubleshooting skills and be adept at resolving technical issues using diagnostic tools and equipment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver on-demand technical support via phone and on-site visits as necessary.
  • Plan and execute scheduled maintenance activities efficiently.
  • Ensure timely and accurate submission of service documentation.
  • Foster positive relationships with clients through regular communication and support.
  • Return unused materials to the company’s facilities promptly and document accordingly.
  • Collaborate with sales and operational teams to address customer-specific technical challenges.
  • Clarify customer requirements and technical issues in partnership with the sales team.
  • Conduct professional and safe installations and de-installations of imaging systems.
  • Assist in site planning and sales consultations as required.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records through proper handling and storage practices.
  • Support company-wide initiatives and adhere to established policies and procedures.
Qualifications

Required:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • Extensive experience in servicing medical imaging equipment.
  • Willingness to be on-call, including weekends and holidays.
  • Valid U.S. driver's license.

Preferred:

  • Associate Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent military training in electronics.
Travel Requirements

Willingness to travel within the United States is essential for this role.
