Medical Imaging Service Technician

Overview:
As a pivotal member of our organization, our Service Technicians embody a blend of technical expertise and exceptional customer service. We are excited to expand our team and are looking for dedicated individuals to join us in delivering top-tier support in the medical imaging sector.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct installation and maintenance of advanced medical imaging equipment, including mammography and bone densitometry systems.
  • Ensure optimal performance of equipment through regular preventative maintenance and timely repairs.
  • Foster strong relationships with clients, providing reassurance and expert solutions to technical challenges.
  • Complete all necessary service documentation accurately and promptly.
  • Assist in training clients on the effective use of medical imaging products.
  • Collaborate with sales teams to ensure seamless equipment installations and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage inventory and maintain accurate records of service activities.
  • Participate in industry events and provide support during customer trials.

Qualifications:
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, particularly in high-pressure environments.
  • Flexibility to work varied hours and be available for on-call duties.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are essential.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

Education and Experience:
  • Associate's Degree or equivalent in a technical field such as electronics or computer science.
  • 2-4 years of experience in a field service role, particularly with medical imaging or related equipment.

Additional Information:
  • Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds.
  • Compensation is competitive and based on experience and qualifications.
