Sales Manager Job Description

Hendrick Automotive Group is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Sales Manager to lead our Sales Department at Hendrick Lexus North in Kansas City, Missouri.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the Sales Department to achieve sales performance results and customer satisfaction
  • Supervise sales team members and ensure compliance with manufacturer training requirements
  • Develop and implement sales strategies to improve sales and operations
  • Work with upper management and Human Resources to make hiring and discipline decisions
  • Ensure proper reporting of sales to manufacturer(s)
  • Interact with customers to ensure customer satisfaction

Requirements:

  • Excellent sales skills and prior supervisory experience
  • Working knowledge of automotive sales industry
  • Intermediate skills in Microsoft Office products
  • Ability to communicate effectively with customers and company personnel
