Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Production Specialist to join our team at GE Aviation. As a key member of our production team, you will be responsible for processing materials into finished or semi-finished components.

Key Responsibilities
  • Material Processing: Read work orders, formulas, and processing charts to determine specifications and sequence of operations.
  • Ingredient Measurement: Weigh or measure specified ingredients and binding agents.
  • Material Mixing and Grinding: Mix and grind material to meet specifications.
  • Equipment Operation: Load and unload parts, monitor operation, and adjust controls of various processing machines and equipment.
  • Cleaning and Inspection: Clean materials as required prior to processing operations and inspect, measure, and test components according to specifications.
  • Component Assembly: Enclose components in housings and stamp or etch identifying information on finished components.
  • Quality Control: Count, sort, and weigh processed items and maintain manual or computerized records of productions and inspection dates.
  • Safety and Compliance: Adhere to and follow all safety procedures, report safety concerns, use appropriate PPE as required, and follow similar safety practices.
  • Quality Assurance: Meet all quality assurance standards of the product.
Requirements
  • Education: High School Diploma/GED.
  • Availability: Willing and able to work overtime and any shift.
  • Language Skills: Requires the ability to read, write, and speak the English language, interpret and follow written procedures, complete documentation, and follow verbal instructions.
Eligibility Requirements
  • This role is restricted to U.S. persons due to access to export-controlled technology.
  • Must pass physical, background, and drug screens.

  • Proven experience and willingness to be self-directed and identify improvement processes.
