POSITION SUMMARY: The key role of this position is to provide outstanding customer support, which includes but is not limited to: delivering product and pricing details, managing order processing, ensuring timely shipment of all orders, and addressing any issues that may arise concerning order discrepancies (such as replacements, credits, etc.) to achieve complete customer satisfaction. This role will also emphasize the management of customer freight claims.
CORE RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Timely processing of freight claims. This includes filing claims with carriers for customer quantity shortages, quality concerns, and transit-related cargo loss or damage. Documenting recovery efforts for various claims issues and keeping customers informed about the status of their claims.
- Efficiently process customer orders.
- Respond to inquiries via phone or email.
- Provide detailed product information and fulfill service requests.
- Monitor orders and coordinate corrections as necessary.
- Address inquiries regarding shipping status, pricing, invoicing, and various website-related questions.
- Collaborate with Manufacturing Departments, Accounts Receivable, Art Department, and Sales Team to resolve any customer satisfaction issues.
- A strong commitment to customer service, with a focus on achieving customer satisfaction.
- Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented environment and a willingness to assist colleagues.
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
- Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving abilities.
- A positive attitude, flexibility to manage multiple tasks, and quick comprehension skills.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel).
- Experience with customer relationship management (CRM) software.
- Highly motivated with a strong work ethic and a proactive approach.
- Clear expression of ideas in both written and oral forms, with a proactive sharing of information.
- A post-secondary education or college degree is preferred.
BENEFITS: Mountville offers a comprehensive benefits package that includes medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, disability insurance, and a 401(k) plan with profit sharing.
WORK SCHEDULE: Standard office hours are Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM, with occasional overtime. Following the completion of initial training, a hybrid work schedule may be implemented, allowing staff to work remotely from home 1-2 days per week.
