Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Maintenance Operations Specialist to join our team. As a Maintenance Operations Specialist, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing turbine components, ensuring the safe and reliable operation of aircraft engines and gas turbines. You will work closely with our team of experts to develop and implement solutions that meet the needs of our customers.

Responsibilities
  1. Maintenance and Repair: Perform routine maintenance and repairs on turbine components, including inspection, testing, and replacement of parts as needed.
  2. Problem-Solving: Identify and resolve complex problems related to turbine component maintenance and repair, working closely with our team of experts to develop and implement solutions.
  3. Collaboration: Work closely with our team of engineers, technicians, and other maintenance personnel to ensure the safe and reliable operation of aircraft engines and gas turbines.
  4. Quality Assurance: Ensure that all maintenance and repair activities meet the highest standards of quality and safety, adhering to industry regulations and Chromalloy's quality management system.
  5. Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement and implement changes to processes and procedures to increase efficiency and effectiveness.
Requirements
  • Education: High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required; trade school or technical college education preferred.
  • Experience: 3-5 years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Skills: Must understand PLC controls, oven controls, machine and hand tools, blueprints, and technical drawings, including ladder logic and electrical/Mechanical schematics.
  • Language Skills: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to write routine reports and correspondence. Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred.
  • Mathematical Skills: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide into all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • Reasoning Ability: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to deal with problems involving several concrete variables in standardized situations.
Benefits

Chromalloy offers a competitive salary range of $55,000 - $75,000 per year, depending on experience and qualifications, with opportunities for career growth and advancement. We also offer a comprehensive benefits package, including health, dental, and vision insurance, 401(k) matching, and paid time off.

Location

This position is located in LaGrange, GA, USA. Candidates must be able to work one weekend a month and be available to work 1st shift, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM, Monday through Friday.
